Tuesday July 7th 2009 was officially proclaimed Clarence "Doc" Kuntz Day by issue of proclamation of the Mayor and Town Council of Easton. Doc was honored for his involvement in river cleanup activities. He is a member of TRPA (Talbot River Protection Association), the Choptank Trib Team, RAG (River Appreciation Group) and others. When the tide is high, he is often paddling the Tred Avon River picking up trash.
